Nightstrom
Managed to took some screenshots. It only appears for an instant then disappears, and appears again when I attack the corpse/change the camera. Another user experienced the same issue inFallout 4, I'm posting the link so that you may observe the issue in a better way. Mine isn't that persistent though, it just flickers and that's it. https://www.reddit.com/r/FalloutMods/comments/as7zz7/fo4_what_is_causing_this_white_flickering_square/ My load order: FalloutNV.esm DeadMoney.esm LonesomeRoad.esm OldWorldBlues.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm HonestHearts.esm Zan_AutoPurge_SmartAgro_NV.esp Horrors of The New West.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp No Weapon Speed Penalty.esp No speed penalty.esp Diagonal movement.esp Packless Heavy Weapons.esp Unofficial Patch NVSE.esp YUP - NPC Fixes (Base Game + All DLC).esp PFAC 1.1.esp Realistic Movement.esp PA Footsteps.esp migTeslaChain.esp Tesla Cannon Casing Remover.esp pipboy2500_edisleado.esp Faster Start Menu.esp Disable_CamShake.esp hz_Empty Clicks.esp Centered 3rd Person Camera - Unraised.esp Centered 3rd Person Camera.esp Classic HK L30 Gatling Laser (non-replacer, holster).esp Classic HK L30 Gatling Laser (non-replacer, no holster).esp Book of Steel.esp boa ncrpahelmet.esp Boacombat2glove.esp d7_minigun_textureSet.esp d7_minigun_textureSet_NV.esp MinigunAnimationFix.esp Project Reality Footsteps.esp Titans of The New West - No Backpack.esp Titans of The New West.esp Classic HK L30 Gatling Laser (replacer, no holster).esp ClassicMiniguns.esp PM_IKIWFA.esp Vurt's WFO.esp A Wasteland in Bloom.esp ADAM - Trooper Gloves.esp STDG.esp Bathroom Doors Fix.esp SimpleStreetLights (Extra Lights).esp Burning Campfire.esp BC2.esp EnhancedGrass_NoVL.esp FNVLODGen.esp tmzLODadditions.esp Strip Wall Billboards.esp Uncut Wasteland.esp Uncut Extra Collection.esp Cut Sewers Restored.esp vault22FloralOverhaul.esp Animated Sleeping.esp Animated Workbenches.esp Zebumper - Animated Food and Drinks.esp Minigun Animation.esp Improved Sound FX.esp Improved Sound FX - DM.esp Improved Sound FX - GRA.esp Improved Sound FX - HH Sharing Fix.esp Improved Sound FX - HH.esp Improved Sound FX - LR Sharing Fix.esp Improved Sound FX - OWB Sharing Fix.esp Improved Sound FX - Weapon Sharing Fix.esp IMPACT.esp EVE FNV - ALL DLC.esp dD - Enhanced Blood Main NV.esp Fellout.esp Gomorrah Redesigned v2.esp New Vegas Redesigned 3.esm New Vegas Redesigned 3.esp Bitter Springs Redesigned.esp Edited May 30, 2020 by Nightstrom
KiCHo666
Are you using AMD gpu by any chance?I started experiencing the same issue when I switched to 5700XT (don't buy it). Disabling AA fixed it. In the end I disabled actor decals and kept AA.
Nightstrom
Indeed, I have an AMD GPU. I would also like to mention that I did a test with no mods installed and it didn't have any issues.
KiCHo666
Really? Hm, what shader package does your game use? You can check that in Documents > My Games > FalloutNV > RenderInfo.txt, second line from the bottom is "Shader package" with some number on the right. Nightstrom
It says "17", but I'm using MO2 so I don't know if there should be any difference since it has it's own files. The good news is, I think I fixed the problem! EDIT: NO I DID NOT!!! Edited June 1, 2020 by Nightstrom
Nightstrom
Update: God damn it I thought I solved the issue, but it looks I just deactivated decals... Blood was still active though. When I maxed decal settings the issue was ever more present. Soo anyone here with an AMD card knows a fix?
dubiousintent
Your best bet is to submit a bug report to your card vendor and wait for a driver update. Note AMD produces the video chip, but each manufacturer/vendor of the adapter card is responsible for actual implementation (under license). They are the ones who will pressure AMD to provide a solution if it is chip related, or they will have to develop one "in-house" to fix their implementation. -Dubious-
Nightstrom
I don't think they'll release a specific update for an old game after this time. Looks like I'll have to play without bullet wounds. Thank you again dubious.
Radioactivelad
This is something I haven't seen in a *long* time, back when I played the games on a Studio One-19, a mac-like all-in-one Vista pc. It's some weird interaction with Anti-Aliasing that causes the bloom/hdr effect to go out of control. The Fallout 4 example is the same thing, out of control bloom lighting. (Though it happens for different reasons, caused by the game itself.)There's one pixel on the very edge of the character that for some reason sends the bloom effect in to overdrive. Nightstrom
Decided it was time to format my PC so I'll give it another go. I'll keep you updated.
