PC and PS3 Mono Headset?

Anyone game on both a PC and a PS3? I have been using playstations for a long time now and have recently dabbled in some light PC gaming....im looking for a mono headset that will work with both.... I have been eying this NoiseHush N780 but then i compare it to the likes of say turtle beach options and well i feel like maybe i should just spend a bit more, as you can see i have been given descions that i simply cannot make on my own! lol. I am however interested in your take on headsets or which ones you use. Most of the affordable ones out their seem to be made of rather cheap materials, is their a premium options?

I actually use something like this for the PS3 http://www.motorola.com/us/consumers/HK250-Universal-Bluetooth-Headset/109703,en_US,pd.html It has noise cancelling and the earpiece doesn't completely block your ear so you can still hear the game.

yea i use a bluetooth for my PS3 (the "official PS3 bluetooth" lol) as for my PC, i only have headphones, no mic (yet)

I use the 360 headset on the PC when I need a mic.

Strangely, my "PS3" bluetooth headset also works with my PC. It did a few months ago at least. Since then I haven't been able to get it working, and I'm not sure if it's the headset itself or that I'm using a PS3 headset with a PC.
