rizon72
I always play through at least once as an Imperial. Then I'll play as other races depending on my mood.
BCbrad
I have played and Elf to lvl 63, had to quit because of massive save bloat. Nord to lvl 62, again save bloat killed me. I tried Khajiit, orc, and argonian, but never really make it past lvl5 before getting bored. Also, I have a redguard at lvl 20. I always try to mix up the build style, but the beast races just don't do anything for me. However, my favorite race by far is the Temptress race. WatchMeGoing
My first character in Skyrim was a Wood Elf that used Archery + Sneaking + Light Armor. More of a hunter type than an assassin type, but had no problem using his skills to hunt bandits, draugr and other scum. It was fun but got kind of boring after a while. Sneak + Archery is easy mode. My favorite combat style has to be the two handed battleaxe. My first elder scroll character ever was an Argonian in Oblivion, so I recently decided to go back to my roots and combine that with my favorite combat style in skyrim. I now play an Argonian with a battleaxe. He uses Two-Handed, Ligh Armor, Block and Sneak. I don't use sneak attacks though, they're not much use with a battleaxe anyway. I just use sneak to get close to enemies unnoticed so they can't use ranged attacks. What I love about Argonians are the powers and abilities. Water breathing, 50% resistant to disease and a power that regenerates health 10 times faster are all quite useful. On top of that, I kinda like the idea of the dragonborn looking like a miniature dragon. But I have played dozens of characters inbetween those two, from all races with all kinds of skill sets. I liked Redguards, Nords, Orcs, Khajiit and High Elves too. Imperials, Bretons and Dark Elves weren't really anything special to me. One that deserves a special mention was a High Elf brute. A Two-Handed warhammer wielding Altmer. Basically an Orc trapped in an Altmer body. I did this because High Elves are the biggest characters, and being bigger than nearly every NPC in Skyrim really made him feel like a brute. Being the simple brute that he was, he detested all the posh magic-using milkdrinkers of his kind and the political games of the empire, so he joined the Stormcloaks. Just a shame High Elves can't grow beards like the Nords can. My favorite race has to be Argonians though.
SilentFly
I used to play with nord but i found out that teptress has more beautiful face so i got myself alternate change race mod to change my main characters race without messing with skills. I realy like playing with human races cause it has more body and skin mods. my second race would be Wood elf for it's archery bonus but regarding the skills i would choose kahjit cause i simply like cats :DÂ Here's my current character :)
InuyashaFE
I usually find I can only play Argonians and Khajiits, though I've played other races. My first ever playthrough was an Orc, my next two were Khajiits. My most recent ones were a Khajiit wizard, Khajiit berserker, and Argonian archer.
fortie
I have played all but argonian and Breton. I can't bring myself to play argonian it just doesn't make sense to me at all ANSI can't make a good enough Breton that I like. I played as a nord for ages both with the imperials and stormcloaks and doing the guilds. I then played as the elf races but didn't overly get attached to them. Then I played an orc living in a stronghold moving from one to another using steel iron and orc weapons and armor that was fun he was a strong orc warrior/hunter I role played that as much as I could living by the code of malacath and all. My current one I'm playing as a dark elf I never played as one but I got him to look really tough and evil. He is an outcast living in the wild hunting and trading with lone hunters or caravans. He relies on his bow and dagger and some magic. I use various shack mods and realistic things. I play mostly males but so e females at different times. WhatAreWeGonnaDo
Right now falmer with one-handed, magic and heavy armor. Very fun and challenging cause you have to plan your attacks better (can't move while swinging sword)Also, lunari, dremora darkelf and orc. I'd like to play khajiit but there really is no armor that fits to them.
