MattTheSkeleton
I tried to install Qmod manager but the file for it doesn't actually show up in the subnautica folder, meaning vortex won't activate the game. The page where you download qmod said I have to verify game files and then try again but I don't know how to do that.
HadToRegister
Qmod manager just sits somewhere in your install folder, you don't "Run" it like a program like other Mod Managers. You just install the Mods you want, Make sure to install SMLHelper too. You need to install Qmod Manager You don't install Qmod Manager with Vortex, because it's an EXE, just run the Qmod Manager exe to install it, then you can use Vortex to install everything else.I'm currently using 80 mods with Vortex for Subnautica. I want to just play the game normally.

HadToRegister
there is no mod left Then what is the problem? I'm completely confused as to what you actually want, because you're making me guess and ask questions and you only respond with a vague sentence. At this point I don't what you want. I'm completely confused as to what you actually want, because you're making me guess and ask questions and you only respond with a vague sentence. At this point I don't what you want. I want to play Subnautica normally, no mods. I got vortex and installed a mod, Qmod manager didn't work but you said that I don't need it. I went to the mods folder for Subnautica in the folder of vortex and deleted the file of the mod, but when I go into vortex, it says 1 mod active. However, vortex is not giving me the option to deactivate the mod. When I go into the "MODS" category in the settings of vortex, it tells me I have to select a game to manage, even though Subnautica is shown as "Managed" When I select subnautica in vortex and click activate, it says I need C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica\Qmods
MattTheSkeleton
I have solved the issue, I finally found a helpful guide about verifying game files, and I was able to install qmod manager and run subnautica with the mod I got before no problem. Sorry for wasting your time.
