Can't seem to get anything to work, but specifically I downloaded Vortex today onto my MAC, and of course then I got a message saying it won't install because it's not compatible - a Windows program.

But I didn't see anywhere, anything indicating that it was for a PC !

It would be *really* helpful if *all* programs were labelled regarding which system they are for - even a small Windows / Apple symbol would do.

Please consider this.

Btw is there a Mac Mod Manager on here?

Thanks.

Yes, Vortex is currently for Windows only. Sorry that you downloaded it hoping it would work on MAC. I'll see about adding a comment stating that it's a Windows app atm.

try NMM or MO. Not sure if they work but worth a shot since they are older

Yes, very annoying to pay for a membership only to see that nothing's gonna work on mac....... would have been cool to know that before throwing money away.

You don't need to pay for a membership to do anything here. Paying simply makes downloads faster. That's it.

i'd suggest buying a mac is a bigger indication of throwing money away, personally.

I wasn't going to say that....... but, it gives me a good chuckle that someone did. :)

MAC is a PC (Personal Computer). The initials PC have no bearing on the Operating System (OS).

It is safe to assume that none of the mods hosted here will work on an Apple OS.
