Tolle44 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Hey all, Once in a while I get the message "This app can't run on your PC" while trying to run Vortex. The icon also becomes a blank default icon. Checking the forums, I see a few others who have had the same issue, but since it's not a one-time thing, I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone knows why this happens. The quick fix is to simply reinstall Vortex, but I'm hoping someone can help me find a permanent solution. I'm currently making a mod, which I'm guessing might have something to do with it? I just don't understand how.I've attached two images: one depicting the desktop area with the tools and software I use, and a second with the notification I see when trying to run Vortex. Any help appreciated :smile:
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted June 10, 2020 Community Manager Posted June 10, 2020 I'm pretty sure this is the result of security software on your PC deleting parts of Vortex. Especially because reinstalling the app fixes it. Which AV programs do you use?
