XavierMunroe Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 I'm getting back into modding with SSE and Vortex updates to the latest version. I close out of Vortex and it tells me I'm going to use the previous version even though I already updated. It's as if the update is only temporary. I need help!

One in the default location and one in a custom location (this is exactly why we don't recommend the custom install location). If you uninstall Vortex (both of them) from your PC and redownload the default installer version, that should fix your issue. You mods will not be altered (unless you've put your download or staging folder inside Vortex's program folder)

Welp, guess I'm doing stuff.
XavierMunroe Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 Fixed it. I deleted Vortex stuff in my C Drive and rebooted my D Vortex. I updated and then suddenly had two shortcuts, so I deleted the one I was using and now there's no pop-ups. I no longer have to say I'm mad!
