Skagens
This is a rather cool idea.If anyone were to make something like this, what would the bonuses be? The opposite of the divine amulets?
Arachnid95
This is a rather cool idea.If anyone were to make something like this, what would the bonuses be? The opposite of the divine amulets?Azura - Since her artifact is a soul gem, maybe it would, like... increase the Enchanting skill by 10%? Boethiah - Sneak attacks deal 10% more damage Clavicus Vile - Probably some kind of Speech increase, but I dunno; given that his Masque already does that, it seems kind of redundant... Hermaeus Mora - All skills increase 10% faster, perhaps? Hiricine - Arrows deal 10 points of extra damage, perhaps? Malacath - Increases the Two-Handed skill by 10%, 20% if you're an Orc. Or maybe that's unbalanced, I don't know, I'm new at this... XD Mehrunes Dagon - Dunno. Mephala - Dunno either. Meridia - All attacks deal extra damage to undead? Molag Bal - Hmmm... all melee attacks absorb 5 points of health per hit? Namira - Also dunno. Nocturnal - Definitely a boost to the Sneak skill. Peryite - Some degree of disease resistance, maybe? Sanguine - Heh... alcohol restores 50% more stamina... XD Sheogorath - Turns you into a skeever at random intervals. Vaermina - Not really sure. I was thinking some kind of damage bonus when attacking sleeping targets, but they seem pretty vulnerable as it is... Anywho, that's my input. I was thinking some kind of damage bonus when attacking sleeping targets, but they seem pretty vulnerable as it is... Anywho, that's my input. Not bad. Based on this, how about: Azura: Enchanting increased by 10 points.Boethiah: Sneak attacks deal 10% more damage.Clavicus Vile: Critical Strike chance increased by 10%.Hermaeus Mora: Spells from all magic schools cost 5% less magicka to cast.Hircine: Archery increased by 10 points.Malacath: Two-Handed increased by 10 points.Mehrunes Dagon: Power attacks deal 10% more damage and costs 10% less stamina.Mephala: Automatically become invisible for a short time when sneaking.Meridia: Attacks deal 10% extra damage to undead.Molag Bal: Melee attacks drains 5 points of health from the target.Namira: Increases Stamina regeneration by 25%.Nocturnal: Sneak increased by 15 points.Peryite: Increases disease resistance by 50-70%.Sanguine: Conjuration increased by 10 points.Sheogorath: Buff or debuff a random skill for one day. (Give +10 points or -10 points to a random skill, ie. Archery, Destruction, Smithing etc.)Vaermina: Chance to make target flee in fear when attacked. Amulet of Dibella already boosts speech and amulet of Zenithar makes prices better so it made no point in Clavicus Vile's amulet having any of those buffs, which is why critical chance makes more sense.Amulet of Sheogorath could also work to only give a 5 point boost to a random skill but no debuff. I personally think the +10/-10 makes for more fun.Hermaeus Mora, Vaermina, Namira and Mephala were tricky, but I think I've made their respective powers somewhat reasonable. Skagens
And maybe Jyggalag could be: Absorb 10% damage from physical attacks.

There ya go, those work nicely! XD I also wonder, though, if maybe the Daedric amulets should also have some kind of minor detriment to them, too? After all, serving such fickle and dangerous beings as the Daedric Princes surely comes with no small amount of risk to oneself...!
NinjaWarriorPoet
I'm not sure how you could do it, but what if Peryite gave you different buffs depending on the diseases that you've caught?
Arachnid95
I'm not sure how you could do it, but what if Peryite gave you different buffs depending on the diseases that you've caught?Oooh, interesting idea! Like, have it reverse the effects of the diseases: Ataxia makes lockpicking and pocket-picking 25% easier, instead of harder; Black Heart Blight adds ten points to your carry weight; Rattles increases your stamina by 50%; Brain Rot adds 25 magicka, etc. It'd be interesting to see if and how the amulet reacted to vampirism and lycanthropy... Lycanthropy isn't considered a disease. You get 100% disease resistance once you have the power. Same goes for Vampire Lord and Vampirism since they all already have negative effects that come with them. Sanguinare Vampiris is however a disease that leads to Vampirism.
