Where to put loose texture file folder to overwrite BSA?

Hello!

A little help please... I am trying to use my own textures (POV skin) for Amalia (mod link below). She is packed up in a BSA so it's not a simple overwrite. I have read that I can setup a loose files folder containing the textures so it overwrites the BSA on game load, but I have no clue where to put the folder?? I have tried several locations within textures but nothing seems to work?

Any ideas?? What's the specific rule for doing this kind of thing?

THANKS!!

You will need to extract the contents of the BSA to a clean folder outside of the game folder. This is so you can find out what the directory structure used by the mod might be. Then in the game's data folder you can recreate that directory structure and place your own files. However, if you use a mod manager, you can create yet another clean folder outside of the game and add the directory structure plus whatever files you want to replace there. Then pack that up with an archive tool like 7zip and install that file with your mod manager making sure that it has the priority over the other mod.
