Is this normal?

I have 4 unread lockpicking books I have collected and I am lvl 97 in lockpicking but when I read the books I only get a skill point after reading the 4th.. it doesn't matter what order I read them in. I can read book 1 then 2, 3 then 4 and get a skill point on the 4th.. or in any other order like 4, 3, 1, 2 and so on but I only gain a skill point on the 4th book I read.

 

Is this a bug or is it meant to take 4 books for 1 kill after lvl 90 or something? I have some mods that change books which are "Better Skill and Quest Book Names" and "Unread Books Glow". Both are on GEMS and seem to be compatible with each other so far.. I also have the Unofficial Skyrim Patch (Latest).

Do you have the Skyrim Uncapper mod installed?

 

If so what value did you set the lockpicking skill multiplier to? Sounds like it may have been set to .25 meaning that it would take 4 books to gain 1 full sill level.

Hey thanks for your quick reply.. nope I don't have an uncapper mod. I will post my list though.. If I have any other stuff not on the list they are just texture replacers.
