Simonkotheruler Posted July 5, 2020 Share Posted July 5, 2020 For some reason skyrim se acts like I don't have SKSE64 installed even though I have tried to install it both by adding it manually to the game file and letting vortex install it. Using either of these methods no matter if I launch from steam, vortex or skse64 loader (running the loader as administrator makes no difference) skse64 wont be listed as an installed mod (all other mods will be) and when I try to create a new save everything bugs out and i'm unable to start the tutorial Since I have mods that need SKSE64 installed. Any ideas on what the problem could be? When googling and looking at similar problems they could solve it by running it as an administrator or that it could be a problem with the firewall. Turning of the firewalls didn't work either and neither did restarting the computer. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HadToRegister Posted July 5, 2020 Share Posted July 5, 2020 SKSE install [ Installation ] 1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim SE directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\. If you see files named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it. 2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
