brokenergy
I have just bought Crusader Kings 2 and... I suck at it. If anything, I would dream that Paradox would add a much better learning curve for beginners like me and Total War gameplay for combat. Does anyone know how to play this game or have links to walkthoughs? Thanks in advance
Vagrant0
There's a convenient 50 step tutorial in the game... But yeah, it's one of those games that you kinda have to really sit down and figure out what the hell you're doing before you can play. Once you do however, it's supposedly fun. I don't have much clue myself though, only had the time to actually sit down and tinker with it for a few hours of poking about and running a kingdom to ruin, bringing an end to the French once and for all. It did however make more sense after going through some of the tutorials.
brokenergy
They should make a better tutorial section, I love the game so far but I have ruined my dreams of obtaining a large Welsh state in 3 generations.

But yes, it's more a game of strategy and alliances than straight conquer.

Still I'm confidant that I can create a greater Welsh state... I just need to start small.
Dark0ne
It takes a long time to get to grips with, but when you do finally get to grips with it, it's the most in-depth strategy game you'll play. Played it for about 70 hours. I think I understand almost everything EXCEPT the marriage and hierarchy systems that still confuse me no end, leading to 10 years of war every time my king dies.
