piranha45
Only already-edited files are viewable in XEdit for me. It seems I have to edit something initially in Creation Kit, before its available to view in XEdit. Is there a menu I'm ignorant of, or is that just the way it is? SkyrimUser72
in xedit, load all mods, then right click a mod and in pop up window click "other" then in new pop up box, click "options" turn off box that says "Hide Unused"
piranha45
That doesn't change anything for me...https://imgur.com/a/MvrcRPzsee reference there. I have all the "hide" features unchecked, and I can click OK, and literally nothing changes. Let's say I wanted to edit the vanilla-game Steel Sword in that Bronze Sword mod... How would I get Steel Sword to show up in the weapons list, for that mod?
IsharaMeradin
When you expand the 'tree' under a plugin in xEdit, it shows you all of the records that have been edited or added by the plugin. If you want another record to appear within that plugin because you wish to add features of that mod to said record, then locate the record in its original plugin, right click, choose 'copy as override', select the target plugin and it will be added. You still have to do whatever modifications you want but it will get the record into the plugin.
