Sonja
Is there any chance we could get something like this? Please?I know many people like them, which is totally fine, but they do tend to dominate a lot of the time, and I'm sure I'm not the only person here who prefers to build personal characters, and/or just isn't interested in presets. Cheers for the consideration.
Pickysaurus
There are already preset tags you can block. Depending on the game they may be slightly different
Perraine
It's also virtually worthless, as many mod authors don't even bother adding a 'tag' to their files, or they 'tag' them incorrectly (perhaps by accident, or perhaps to guarantee views) I've had "Settlement Blueprints" blocked for Fallout 4 virtually since they came out, yet my landing page for Fallout 4 mods is always full of them. Same with "Bodyslide Presets" for Skyrim. I've resigned myself to seeing them now, and accepted that the "tag' system is pretty much broken currently. Thandal
Adding Tags has always been optional for authors, and the Community can add them too. So if the system is "broken" it's because players aren't doing their part.
Perraine
@Thandal ... I totally agree, because it takes 3 users to actually bother to correctly tag a mod for that tag to be applied, however, by then it's already too late, although I guess you could call it some form polite or altruistic gesture so that others don't have to wade through the blocked content as you did. Two things however stand in the way, or at least could be changed by the Nexus themselves to help the "broken' system. One is that mod authors can actually block users from suggesting their own tags, Which I don't think should be an option.Second is that that at least having 1 "tag" should be compulsory. Thandal
@Perraine; Dark0ne has made it clear that the Nexus will put the minimum requirements on mod authors. Basically, that means a working mod and an accurate Description. That's it. Anything more is optional, and a favour to the Community. (Who, after all, are getting those authors' works for free.) Gorsha
Maybe I see it wrong, but if I choose "browse all" in the search section, and choose a category like "preset" (for the OP), or in my case "followers and companions", I get many results in that category. But if I try to block those, because I don't need it or any other reason, it don't work. I assume the OP tries to do the same as i did, because when opening the site, you see many of them and I am not interested. Not because of a "not valuable mod" or something. I do appreciate the work op mod makers. It takes a lot of time and effort to make it. But sometimes it is not your thing, and you want to skip it. But that seems not possible.
