GrifonJ
I am having lots of troubles installing mods in Skyrim with windows 10. I've tried NMM, and even Vortex which I cannot figure out how to use it and can find NO COMPREHENSIVE instructions that a third grader can understand. Seems nowadays,. people don't simplify it anymore. If there is anyone who has had troubles and figured it out, I would greatly appreciate some guidance. Gorsha
Don't install steam, and its programs like Skyrim in C:\ Program files\ etc. Install Steam and its programs on another drive or if you don't have another drive, make a new install path. greyday01
Try MO2. I find it very easy and intuitive. There are a very nice series of youtubes on installation and use of Mod Organizer. Just Google Mod Organizer and Gopher and start with the introduction to Mod Organizer.
GrifonJ
Thanks guys, will try that. I am betting Steam is the cause of having my issues. WIll let ya know if I get it figured out.
Gorsha
Steam is not the cause of your troubles. Windows 10 is very restrictive to the program files folder. It mostly don't let anything write or change something in that folder. The mod manager is also not the cause of troubles. Any is good as another. Grayday01 seems to prefer MO2. Fine, I also know someone who prefer the NMM. Also fine. I prefer Vortex. For me is that very intuitive. But you should find out that by yourself.
