Must have Mods

Recommended Posts

Hello, I just replaced my CPU and upgraded my memory in my computer. And it is finally time to start truly playing and enjoying Fallout 3. Since the Geck has come out I was wondering if there are any lists of must need mods. I know that each person has their own list of favorites and what they want out of the game. I`m looking for mods that will add realism/balance to the game. As well as improving various parts of the game. Definitely not looking for any of those "5x Fat man launchers"

I was wondering if there are any consensus mod favorites?

These are some mods I love:

DarNified UI

Cross Repair Weapons

Cross Repair Armor

My Megaton Basement fixed

Nuka Cola Bottles 3000

Nuka Cola Vending Machines 3000

Hi-Res Weapons

HDR Pipboy

And a totally unreal mod, but one that definitely improves it for me:

Sack of Holding

Hopefully I got all the links right, and none of them are outdated already. ;D

This is what I`m looking for.

I just downloaded the hi-res weapons and the nuka cola mods.

Also just picked up,

Unique Weapons

Mtui Using this as my UI

Two new homes Simple, yet done good

Item Descprition Must have for myself

Robco

I can crank the graphics up pretty high now, so I started looking at different texture, hi-res packs... And different mods to make everything look better.

Guilty pleasure mods  hairpack female makeup BLOOD Female Texture

I've started a list but it certainly is not a comprehensive list that compares and weighs all mods released so far since I do not have the time to check into hardly any of them but they are more based on what I was "wanting" while playing the game without mods. Then I happened to find them on this site.

I used the Mtui for a while, but DarN created what is probably the best user interface mod I've ever seen for Oblivion, and his work so far on Fallout 3 is incredible. It's not even beta (it's still in alpha!) and it's better, as far as I am concerned, than Mtui.
