Oblivion Crashing on startup after installing and then uninstalling "Nighteyes Shader Replacement" OMOD

I used wyre bash only for oblivion, with BOSS. I wanted a mod for nighteye, but it only had an omod, so i used OBMM. Put the .omod into the /mods/ folder, activated it, selected which shader i wanted, all done. Then i thought about it and thought i actually didnt like the shader, so i uninstalled it again - no big deal right??

Well, after this simple process, my oblivion is crashing on startup and i have no idea why. I already replaced the oblivion.ini, and im not sure if i should verify game files or if that will brick my modded installation.

Move all files and folders you find in the game's Oblivion\Data\Shaders folder to a backup and see if the game will start (e.g Oblivion\Data\Shaders\hdr.nighteye\*.* and/or Oblivion\Data\Shaders\nighteye\*.*).

 

- Edit - I see that the original game shaders aren't safely tucked away in a BSA ... you'll probably need these:

You can fastly uninstall mods using Oblivion mod remover.
