aoxer Posted January 26, 2013 Share Posted January 26, 2013 There are a couple mods out that allow you to perform a horn-blowing animation and sound effect — Convenient Horses and Dovahkiin Relaxes Too — and I enjoy both. However, I would really like a mod that allows you to blow a horn (play the animation and the sound effect) without either summoning a horse or without having to have a hostile enemy in front of you (ie; with the relax mod). I saw the recent pipe smoking mod and was thinking something along those lines. I'm not sure how difficult this would be, but I would be very grateful if someone could do this. Thanks in advance! Also, I think it would be quite nice to make it "function" like power, so you could use it without opening menu or so.(= lesser power that is only given to you if you have the horn in your inventory?) Maybe even different horns for different buffs/ DebuffsThere's at least two different animations/versions for horn blowing. Imperial, and stormcloak one. This would be quite good and somewhat immersive. You could RP some sort of "paragon", helping allies by increasing their morale or debuff enemies with some scary noises. Couple of examples for effects:Rally, if possible, without the greenish glow on allies. (Could be done. ) Fear on low-level enemies, something different on higher level ones? If it had any effect at all, it would be a minor fear or applying courage to your followers or something similar that was not overpowered. The immersion factor of blowing the horn was what I was after, but it would be cool if it had a little positive effect, too.
