Jordo141
Hey all; I've Skyrim with Dawnguard up to the latest version and SKSE with it's latest version. I also have the following mods installed in the images below. http://i.imgur.com/19g3uJm.png http://i.imgur.com/GU0wWKE.png I've gotten through the intro dungeon before but after that the game will CTD as a move less than 100 in-game meters from the exit to the Helgen Keep Cave. I've made sure with Cloaks of Skrim to launch Skyrim through Steam and make sure that only one of the esms are enabled. In the Steam Skyrim Launcher I've made sure that everything is in the correct load order (according to BOSS). To launch the game itself I run the SKSE loader as administrator in the Skyrim directory. Before I modded Skyrim I could run vanilla on highest settings no problem whatsoever. Any ideas on which mods could be causing trouble or suggestions to help is much appreciated. Sorry if I forgot any info that you might need.
ilikecheese1337
SoS is asking for trouble. Save game bloating, performance impacting... not, in general, a good idea.

I disabled all three modules of SoS in NMM and retried running the game again... Crashes at the exact same point :(
ripple
I have bad eyes, can't see well. Can you post your BOSS log in text format instead of pics? Edited January 27, 2013 by ripple

ripple
1) You mentioned that you have no performance issues with vanilla Skyrim, but now you have mods, and some mods will degrade performance (especially enhanced texture packs and replacers). Depending on your rig and what/how many mods you use, you may or may not have to turn down the settings to optimize and stabilize your system with a modded game. 2) This is unrelated to your CTDs. But you are using a number of 'give more stuff to NPCs' mods (e.g. immersive armour, cloaks of skyrim, immersive weapons etc.). You will need to use Wrye Bash to generate a Bashed Patch in order to merge the conflicting leveled list edits. 3) Need to handle this:Cloaks - No Imperial.esp ActiveNote: Use only one cloaks*espCloaks - Player Only.esp ActiveNote: Use only one cloaks*esp I am seeing this mistake in many of the load orders that have been posted. I am not entirely sure why because the author of CoS stated in the mod description the importance of using just one optional plugin. If you want the cloaks to be craft only, use the 'player only' option. If you want NPCs to have a chance of spawning with cloaks, except imperial legion, use 'no imperial.' If you want all NPCs to have a chance of spawning with cloaks, don't use any of the optional plugin. Default plugin with Wrye Bash will do. 4) Moonpath to Elseweyr has been reported to cause issues. Apparently, the mod author's advice is to enable the mod only when you want to play it, and disable it after you are finished. 5) Did BOSS report any unrecognized esp's? Thanks, very informative post. Regarding #1 I doubt it's my actual rig because for the brief moment of being about to play atm everything is running smoothly at at least 60 FPS, the crashes basically come out of nowhere with no sign of performance dropping. I tried everything there on lower settings to be sure, and no success there. I'll download Wrye Bash and merge these mods and give it a try. Hmm, I've had Moonpath on different saved games for a while now and it has never caused issues... I'll disable it for the minute to make sure. There's no unrecognized esp's according to BOSS :/ Edited January 27, 2013 by Jordo141

So I downloaded Wyre Bash there and I had a look through the readme, but I haven't a clue of how to use it at all D:
Jordo141
I just realised that when I was cleaning some mods using TESV Edit I did everything incorrectly by doing everything all in the one go. I'll clean them properly this time and report if things work out.
