ericjmz
Good morning folks,'lil advice please? I will be doing the cleanest/freshest start of Skyrim SSE possible; I use steam, vortex, creation club (almost all of them), and lots of favorite modsMy question is, is the following plan the PERFECT approach...or is a different approach better...and the biggest question is as to mods? Step 1: Uninstall every single mod, both enabled or not; not merely disable but uninstall via Vortex; I am pretty sure that has to be 1-mod-at-a-time, but if there is a way to do all of it, please say so Step 2: Uninstall Skyrim SSE (via steam) Step 3: wasn't planning to do this, but should I ALSO delete any folders steam leaves in mySteam/steamapps/common/Skyrim Special edition folder...and...and whether the answer is to 'leave alone' or to delete, what’s the rationale?I’m guessing with all my creation club stuff, to leave it all alone is correct? Step 4: DO the whole mod(s) bit again, with latest versions of everything100% correct?...or would folks do ANY steps different at all? Thank youericjmz PS: I will have a mod or 2 question after I get this done, before I load it up with new mods, specifically as to Creation Club...but I'll leave that for another question-thread after this is done :-)
HadToRegister
I'm afraid you'll have to uninstall them one by one with Vortex.
ericjmz
thank youis the remainder of my plan 100% correct...or not?
HadToRegister
thank youis the remainder of my plan 100% correct...or not? Yes, don't just uninstall Skyrim SE, be sure to delete the game folder, because if files are left in the Skyrim SE folder that a mod manager installed, steam will just leave them there. So for a squeaky clean install, delete the folder after uninstalling
ericjmz
'squeaky' clean is the goal I might even move to a different state, or better yet a different country...just to be certain! :-))
