gliinx
Hey y'all, I'm very new to playing videogames on computers and modding them. I just got skyrim a few months ago and eventually started downloading some mods. I got Skyrim script extender, and found great detailed instructions on how to install it, and all the other mods I have I used nexus mod manager for. Figured everything out, no problems.Recently, it has told me that my version of SKSE is no longer the newest and I should update it. This is the problem. How do I update it? Do I just delete the old skse files, and download the new skse zipped file again? That is what makes sense to me, however I no longer know where the detailed instructions for installing it were and I remember it being complicated. Can anyone help me out?Alternately is there a way I can install SKSE with mod manager? Thanks for your help! VectorPlexus
well... if you have some remote desktop software on your computer, I will gladly open the .7z file and extract the skse_readme.txt for you, so you can read it! :psyduck: but seriously now... just unpack it to the game folder and replace all files xP Edited February 2, 2013 by VectorPlexus

Deleted5045300User
Installing SKSE is as easy as dumping the extracted files into your Skyrim folder. Same with updating.
ohman95
You don't "update" SKSE. Download the latest version and replace the old one.
scrivener07
Overwriting skse for an update is fine. No need to hunt down all the old files.
