SalazarDrago Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Hey guys just got dragonborn today...having no mod conflicts whatsoever...however now i run into this bug...when i start the quest to find neloth...i go into the tower and im on the magical blue circle that's supposed to float you up to the top...however i activate it and nothing happens...my character freezes for a bit and then nothing happens...ive gone out of the tower and back in...and also tried saving a reloading and still nothing happens...its really not that big a deal seeing as i can just set my jump height all the way up...but it is an ominous sign for just starting db

Only thing I've managed to get off the web so far is "try not to move when floating up", which doesn't really help. It's a stupid glitch that I saw for the Xbox version on a video I watched on Youtube. I guess they didn't test it out enough before PC release. I hope they fix it soon. I'm sure we won't be the only ones with this issue. I'm not familiar with the jump trick you do. How exactly does that work? I can't progress with the main storyline.
noggenfogger Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 i got around this by opening the console and typing tcl and pointing my camera straight up and running. basically tcl will make you sort of "fly" while running. careful though cus this also makes you go thru walls. when u get to the top just make sure you're above the floor and type tcl again.

Echoside Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I had the exact same problem because of FNIS. RemoveData/Meshes/actors/character/characters/defaultmale.hkxData/Meshes/actors/character/characters female/defaultfemale.hkx Kudos to Eliyan for figuring it out.
Trickysocks Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Wow, no kidding. I'll have to try that. That makes for a great mod idea. Take out float option and install a ladder. Screw the fancy Willy Wonka flying. A solid ladder for my friend, Mr.FNIS.
Beebww Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I had the same bug and I found that removing Data/Meshes/actors/character/behaviors fixes it

Bri01 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) I tried removing the default male and female . All it does is makes me crash to desktop. If you use FNIS Behavior mod he has done a DB Update for these "float and dragon riding bugs" http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11811 it fixed my problem . Hope this helps you guys out.
