SpellAndShield Posted February 6, 2013 Share Posted February 6, 2013 Now that Dragonborn is out the possibility must exist to create a mod with werebear form and perks, maybe also some remodelling of the werebear as well? To be honest I have always preferred werebears to werewolves so if a mod came out for this I would be very grateful. I have a mod that infects you with lycanthropy or cures you by using a ring menu. I infected myself with lycanthropy, turned into the werewolf, used console to get all the perks, then turned back into human, then used the bear ring to turn into the werebear. After killing things I turned back into a human, cured lycanthropy, and kept the werebear ring and the perks. Now the reason I had to do it this way is because you cannot use the ring unless you are/have been a werewolf. Secondly perk menu is not available in werebear form so if you want to have perks you have to use the console. The werebear form in this mod is separate from the werewolf so it only affects you character. You literally are a werebear. It is not a re-texture. The transformation does not show a werewolf first and then a werebear. The transformation goes from human straight to werebear. Also NPCs do not call you a werewolf they just attack you. While they do not call you a werebear at least you don't have to be called a werewolf so immersion is about a B+. I say that mod is the best werebear mod out there right now.
