My suggestion for that is to just add a shortcut on Origin to DAO so it will run the exe instead of wanting to install.

That is really weird. Have you tried running Origin as admin before clicking install? The redist thing fixed it for me but maybe you have to run Origin as admin too.

Skyrim, Fallour 3/NV, Arkham Asylum/City, Mass Effect 1. You'll have to google which titles are DX9 compatible. There are simply too many to list.

I had a similar issue, just copy and paste the directx redist folder from another DX9 game, replacing the one in the Dragon Age Origins folder and then the game should install normally. The DX Redist is apparently incompatible with Windows 8 and above.

I am trying to make a mod to bring Ash's robot hand from "Ash Vs Evil Dead" into Fallout 4. However I'm having issues with it and can't figure out why. Basically my model opens up fine in the creation kit and nifskope but does not show up in game or make the right hand invisible. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I didn't know which one this falls under.

As the title says, would it be possible to have a uninstall all mods option please?

It adds into FO3's base folder and yes you should be able to keep your saves to go through DLC

hmm...is it depending on the angle you're looking at the object in and did you download all of the NMC archives for either the Full or Performance pack?

purple means missing texture, try to re-download all of NMC's texture pack - it sounds like a archive issue

Download nexus mod manager, install it, load it up, wait for it to detect Fallout 3, on NMM's main page go to the hammer and screwdriver icon, click it then it'll come up with reset UI and Archive Invalidation, click Archive Invalidation then when prompted click apply

Turn archive invalidation on? There's a tool for it in NMM

Use the 3dsmax nif plug-in to export it into a nif

Edit the ini's in my documents\my games\Fallout 3 - give them the font tweaks and it should work

Possibly an issue with ACE if you have messed around with the balancing

Yeah the game may be working but as Lawl said a Blue Screen of Death is quite scary to get

Are all your plugins active? If yes just click OK and it should be alright

Tried validating cache? Running as admin? Running in compatibility mode?

Re-install your browser or try a different one? With Firefox it's working fine for me

I think it'll give you the weapon automatically, however I don't have the DLC so I can't say
