Have consequences for selling highly enchanted weapons or armor

I'd love to see a mod which enables consequences for selling highly rated, or enchanted weapons and armor.

For example, instead of these sold items either disappearing, or forever lying in a store unsold; have other's, both friends and foes, buy this gear. It can be used to strengthen whichever faction or individual purchases it, so you may end up fighting a band of bad guys who are using dragonbone weapons with deadly enchantments, which can kill with a few strokes.

Overall, the difficulty factor of this game, even at Legendary levels, is often too easy once the upper levels are achieved. A mod with the above design would increase the difficulty of the game... and would make it a little more realistic.

There's a mod that was ~~recently-ish uploaded to Nexus that will help there.

It makes all the armors and weapons you sell to vendors show up on bandits etc over time. So that +250 dagger you sold to whomever will now end up in the hands of some non-descript bandit, or the enchanted shield, or the double enchanted ebony armor or whatever...

Unfortunately.... You WILL have to search for it yourself, unless someone else comes by and names it. I saw it in passing and thought, "huh, that's kinda neat, maybe I'll install that one later" and then promptly forgot its name.

That sounds about right yes. Bummer if it has a bug. Sorry, I tried to the best i could.

ah...but wait... upon checking the mod and again skimming a little, there's more!!!

If you read the posts tab at Bandit economy, you would have noticed that he's move to a different mod, where's he's merged the functionality into this other thing.

I didn't read in depth but you could try there. best of luck (and sorry I couldn't provide the name. I skim most every mod, but only some sticks in my hollow head)

Hey, thanks for the update. Looked at the Faction Economy Complete mod. Sadly, it also has some instability issues... but I'm keeping it on my watch list.

I'm at the stage (level 60... again) where, even on legendary play, I can kill whatever is necessary without much of a fight. I had hoped that the mod in question would make the game more challenging. Anyway... Thanks.

Well, bugs or no, you might try it anyway. worst case you lose a night of progress, then uninstall the mod and open a save prior to having installed it and move on. On other other hand, you may find that the bug reports are overstated and that any associated CTDs are infrequent and or "manageable".

PS> Yes, I'm familiar with the one strike they're dead "problem". I'm Level 54 with my current incarnation on my primary character, and with smithing and enchanting maxed, my weapons and armor are such that it's hard for me to register personal damage, and enemies usually die within one or two hits.To be honest, the only reason I even take followers with me anymore is because they have nice derrieres. I sure don't "need" them for personal protection... Which is fine by me.

To solve your issue of being overpowered, I suppose you could also work the other way.... use console to reduce your health, magicka and stamina.

It would be great to be able to run Faction Economy Complete and SSE Organic Factions by Ether Dynamics together so that by selling high level loot to merchants, you indirectly improve the strength of the organic factions added by the Organic Factions mod.

I'm actually not sure they aren't compatible but it's likely they aren't without a patch.

Can you think of any other mods that one could add into the mix here to help make Skyrim even more dynamic and immersive in terms of how the game world reacts to the player's actions?

If to me... no. I'd recommend watching the review channels on you tube (ESO, MXR, EpicNate, etc). They should give you a good idea of things to look for on that aspect, as well of course, by religiously scanning the new mods page and thoroughly reviewing the mods in "mod categories"). Me, I'm a burned out, housebound, gimped programmer tourist who wields dual Barret 50 cals for personal protection. If you get my drift. (not really "Barrets" of course)

seriously, I bought the game because of the scenery and large world to explore. For the most part, the bad guys are just an inconvenient nuisance I have to deal with to do so. Maybe I had baptism by fire. My first game, I was attacked by dragons incessantly, along with vampires and cultists and assassins. And I mean all the time. Every time I ventured outside city, bam, attacked by vamps, while the vamps attacked along comes a dragon. once I'm done with those (if I survived), wham bam thanks here come the cultists. Over and over....or trolls, or wolves... the only ones who showed me any kindness were the giants...dunno why but unless I really got in their faces, they generally just looked at me like a bunny rabbit. look down scratch chin, make soft grunty noise, walk by... even if I walked through their camps. it was a weird playthrough *until the 1.5.80 update hit and I lost my player to SKSE save corruptions. (PS> I heal giants now whenever I see them. They're my buds.)

Again, bugs or no bugs, if you're into that stuff, I'd recommend installing it and seeing just how "bad" it is. It may not be so bad after all....idk.... I've downloaded mods that just don't work for me, and then I visit the mod page and others rave about how great they are, and I have things installed that others say don't work or don't work together.

edit: I thought of one thing you could do. Install all the survival mode stuff and play with the hardest settings.
