[LE] bookcase question

in the BYOH bookcases even though in the CK there are collision boxes around all sides of the bookmarkers in game I can still read and take them without using the container trigger. The position of the remaining books gets updated and the books in the container also updates. Fireballs and sword strikes have no effect.

 

First question: Do your BYOH bookcases act like that or is it just mine?

 

I made some custom bookcases with the books well back from the collision box. My books cannot be read or taken except through the activator.

 

Do the bookshelves you have made act like mine or the BYOH bookcases?

 

I would prefer my books to be able to be read without having to remove them to my inventory. Would moving the collision box until it touches or is slightly into the bookmarkers make the books act like that or go flying all over?

I found the difference. Bethesda used a L_Unidentified collision layer instead of L_Transparent. But which choice is better?
