seth2012 Posted February 8, 2013 Share Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) Ok I played Skyrim since the first day I had a few problems but most could be fixed, but with Dragonborn came nothing but problems. Word walls don't work, not able to travel to solstheim most of the time, levers etc in dungeons may not work, game is slowed down and freezes every few seconds for a while, sometimes freezes and I have to restart the game, aiming is screwed I move the crosshair a little but the arms and the bow move nearly double that and as I am a stealth archer type of player it mmesses all my game I just can't hit what I aim at sometimes can't even see my aim cause of the over moved arms and bow etc etc etc etc... I am over level 70, spent hundreds of hours and not gonna start a new game and do all the same stuff just to be able to play a dlc so I am pretty much done with Skyim thanks to the buggiest dlc I have ever seen, I have seen better viruses for gods sake. Anyway these are the problems I have I spent my whole day trying to fix them and nothing worked, if you have none of em you are really lucky fellaz., Solution to aiming bug: For the people who have or may in the future have the same weird bow aiming bug I solved it in some odd way. I play a Wood Elf character and with a console command I changed my race to another one(in my case Khajiit) it somehow solved the problem, the with the console command again I returned back to Wood Elf(race menu loses progress as most of you know that's why I used commands) and problem solved. It is very frustrating that Bethesda would release this dlc with so many bugs. I sometimes wonder if they even test the stuff they put out. seth2012 Posted February 8, 2013 Author Share Posted February 8, 2013 Guess they just really spend time for the xbox dlcs not pc and definitely not ps3. Unfoprtunately many of the problems dragonborn caused now stay even when I uninstall dragonborn dlc. The aiming, the freezing etc. It probably messed my save file as I looked around saw a few saying the aiming problem is cause of a corrupted save file. Kayyyleb Posted February 8, 2013 Share Posted February 8, 2013 The only glitch I have is a note stuck in my inventory...pretty sure a lot of these problems are compatibility issues with installed mods and not Bethesda's fault. I literally had no problems except three errant animations files, but some of my friends mentioned various problems with certain mods, mostly unofficial update (which I can in no way confirm as I don't use it.) if you supply a list I could probably give you a idea of some of the things causing problems from what I've heard. Also Dragonborn gets boring after lvl 50 or so. You'd be better off doing it with a lower level character anyways. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yesterdat I removed dragonborn, made a save, reinstalled and started it from the beginning and now word walls work. But the game still slows or freezes most of the time. Evert few seconds it freezes for a while and after some time it freezes completely and I have to close the game from task manager. When I am supposed to give something to or take something from NPCs sometimes the conversation moves on but the item isn't added to or taken from my inventory so some quests can't proceed.
