Totally Noob Q about copying and pasting

I know this will probably sound dumb, but here goes.....is it alright to make a temporary interior cell to house all my grouped items like filled shelves and baskets so you can copy and paste them to different rooms or other cells to keep from having to make them over and over? a completely terrible run-on sentence, but i think it's understandable. lol it's my first time making a mod for skyrim.

Not only do it for mods, but also actually use it as a working part of the mod; particularly if you have the HF planter plots. I also use it for linked storage which will allow you to have several storage points for the same thing throughout your mod.

Thank you everyone. I'm not new to modding. I've been modding Dragon Age for years, but....Skyrim seems much more finicky with load orders and frowning on too much scripting (how much is really too much??? lol). It has taken me months of just getting a stable game using other modders work and to the point I feeling daring enough to play around under the hood myself. lol I will probably have a lot of noob/dumb questions over the coming days. Thank you again.

I see everyone has answered this for you, but just to throw my 2c in, Bethesda themselves used such cells. You can find them in the creation kit, loaded with weapon and shield plaques, pre-stocked shelves, you name it. Very common and highly recommended.

To add to that, you might find it easier to build outdoor items (homes with decks, etc.) in an interior cell, then copy/paste the entire thing outdoors, when you're ready, and raise/lower/rotate it all as one unit. This will save you a lot of trouble with accidentally moving trees, clouds, fog...
