is it a lore friendly creature??

Not exactly. The creatures on this thread are my own designs. I am building a world and mod based on the Pellucidar series written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the creator of Tarzan. Pullucidar was based on the hollow Earth theory, a world within a world. The Pellucidar in my mod will be inside Nirn, not Earth so the creatures don't actually have to fit into either history. The creatures should be recognizable, a mummy, a T-Rex, a Velociraptor but they will not be exact copies. Other than the fact that the player will find an entrance to a cave in Tamriel, this mod has nothing to do with the Elder Scrolls. Once the player inters the maze of caves that will eventually lead to Pellucidar, they will meet new races of underworlders, complete quests and go on adventures, all underground. Hopefully, (If I can figure out how to do it) the player will loose their magic "spells" as they go deeper into the caves. When the player finally emerges into the world of Pellucidar, they will be starting from scratch. I want Pellucidarians to have to work for their magic. The "spells" shouldn't be magic but alchemy. You should need to have certain ingrediants in your possession in order to heal or throw a fire ball but I don't want the player to have to mix them, just find them. If the player enters the caves and returns to Tamriel, Their magic should return and the ingredients become useless.

This is a big mod and it will not be done very soon. Everything in this mod has to change. Can you imagine going to a city in Pellucidar and seeing the Half human, half Ape Sagoths repeating rumors about the emperors death? or trading gold septums to a cave man for a stone axe? The currency of Pellucidar will be the teeth and hides of animals.

The villains of this world are the flesh eating Mahars. Mahars are described as being Pterodactyl like in appearance. They live in underground cities, spend a lot of time in the water, fly and they keep humans as cattle. Sagoths are their servants.

In my Pellucidar you will find an ancient dragon, She will tell you how the Mahars were once the servants of 14 dragons and Pellucidar was a peaceful world but the Mahars betrayed them and murdered all of her 13 sisters. When these dragons die, they dehydrate, their chemical makeup crystallize into a miniature "Statue" that contains their soul and their power. The player will be sent on a quest to retrieve the 13 souls and return them to the dragon, Giving her the power and strength to once again gain control of the vicious Mahars.

I am putting a lot into this project and I work long hours on it but I still have a lot to learn, a lot to do and a long way to go before it is done.

How about Helvetti for the mummy-type creature?

Helvetti sounds like the name of a town or city to me, it's a good name but not for the mummy. It's up to everybody else though, it's their votes that will name these creatures.

About the snow beast. It seems that Busilak has already been chosen as the creatures name, I have received several comments and PM's that have referred to it as the Busilak. Since people have already begun to call it that, Busilak it is.

Thank you dezdimona, nice job of naming it.

Looks nice... I think I've seen something like this in Dune and in Star Wars if I remember well.

About the name :

What do you think about Acridento ? (Acri - sharp / dento - tooth in latin)
