trrrf Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I deleted a bunch of unchecked mods that I no longer use in FOMM, now the game crashes immediately after I start it. I don't get any crash dump, and the only error message I get is that fallout stopped working. Nothing really useful. How would I restore these deleted files, or fix this problem in any other way? chucksteel Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 If you don't have it download FNVedit. open it and, load all of your plug-in's. If it loads correctly then you can use it to check for errors. If it doesn't load it will tell you why. I'm guessing you may have accidentally deleted a master or have a merge patch that needs something you've deleted. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

blove Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Did you delete the mods that you had installed or did you just delete the plugins? Did you have a bashed or merged patch and have you recreated it since your deletions? Rename your Menus folder to OLDMenus and see if your game starts. blove Posted February 15, 2013 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Backup your Fallout.ini located in the My Documents folder (typically "C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\"), delete Fallout.ini, and try starting the game (FNV will recreate the INI file on start).
