The textures of the Solstheim landscape and the cliffs are totally messed up. It looks like snow on the ground, but its purple-ish, it almost looks like a normal map. And the textures on the rocks, I have no idea what they look like. :(

It did not happen in the beginning, it appeared recently. And the only mod that I installed during this time was Leveling Merchants. Should not touch the textures at all. :huh:

Would it be a save-game related problem? Sometimes when purplish stuff appears for me, a different save-game doesn't have the same problem.

First,did you try the Hi res BSA fix by putting the official ones in your skyrim.ini,and disabling esp?Also,the first 2 pics look alot like a videocard with bad VRAM.Might wanna try lowering res,cause it looks like you're pushing the card more than it should be.Does it do it when you go back to Skyrim?I don't have that DLC yet,so dunno if you can go between when you want.

I have tried loading an earlier save but the purple stuff was still there.

And the original Skyrim works as it should, no texture bugs and such, but I can try lowering the res.

BSA fix?

Lowering the res does not work either. But in a Bethesda video "developers week" or something they showcased seasons. Winter, summer, autumn. Perhaps its a bug regarding that, because the purple stuff looks like snow, but with the wrong normal map, there ain´t stones under the sand.

You add the bsa in the Skyrim.ini,and disable the esp in the data files of launcher.Should look like below,I put mine in Skyrim_default.ini in main skyrim folder instead.Make sure you get the updated Official HighRes pack from steam first,if you didn't.

[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, HighResTexturePack03.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa
sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa

Supposedly, this fix no longer works and is not needed as the .esps now allow other textures to override them.

I tested without it,and it still needs it,since I actually CTD with the latest HD pack loading cities.With the fix,no texture issues,and no CTDs.The thing is,most ppl won't ever notice the few glitches it actually ever had,so will never need or know it.
