GhostWarrior13000
I made a custom follower with her own custom voice and dialogue. She has all of the vanilla functionality but when I dismiss her she doesn't return to her home she stays at the place where I dismissed her. cumbrianlad
How have you set her up? Does she have her own framework or ar you trying to use the vanilla system? This kind of thing can be caused by a few things. We need to know more precisely, I'm afraid. just spill the beans!

TyburnKetch
" We need to know more precisely, I'm afraid. just spill the beans!"This made me spit my coffee out of my nose! Back to being a grandad ... I agree. More info is needed. What conditions does she have running? Quests? AI Packages?
ak0d
I think you would need to give them a Sandbox package for some location (their "home") and put it under the Follower package in the list.In theory they would then default to sandboxing (many of the vanilla sandbox packages include a travel command) if the follower package isn't currently active. antstubell
Every follower has a 'home' sandbox package. That's how you find Lydia in Dragonsreach and she stays there until you ask her to follow you. When she follows her follower faction value changes, not sure if it changes from -1 to 0 or 0 to 1, you'd have to check a follower's initial faction value. The 'home' sandbox package is conditioned on whether the follower is currently - following. GetInFaction condition.
thumbincubation
First thing I would check is to see if her packages are ordered by time day (if more than one) and that the last one is the one with no time set, like work at place A from 0900-1700, sleep at place B from 2200-0600, sandbox at place C anytime. Also double check that the sandbox or home package is editor location or near a selected reference, rather than wherever in the world she finds herself when "told" to sandbox.
