Zorkaz
Is there a key or an other option so a placed object automatically angles itself in relation to the ground? E.g. Tilted Ground means tilted object
YouDoNotKnowMyName
I don't think so ... (but I don't know every feature of the CK ...) Because most objects (like the building structures) have a large "footprint", so what point would be aligned to the ground? The "center point" of the mesh?I don't think that such a feature would be useful and most of the time it would have to be "adjusted" by hand anyway ...Just trying to think about how this would be implemented if it existed .... So you would want it to work like a "misc item" that you can place in the render winow, enable the "physics" and have the object "adjust its position" according to its collision? But wiht a static. Just curious: What are you trying to do? Do you want to place like thousands of objects or what? DieFeM
I think you can do it with object palets OPAL, using "Conform to slope" in the angle section.

thousande
One way is to select the reference then hold down the ALT key and the left mouse button and start dragging the reference around. The reference's pivot should move while tilting/aligning with the poly it enters. Then right mouse click/hold and drag to rotate.Press G for toggle local / global orientation. AFK, but I think some of the 'extra' mouse buttons lets you adjust the move/rotate speed up/down on the fly.
