That might be why it doesn't move the light behind you. May I suggest you try Pip-Boy flashlight with the Unequip Pip-Boy Mod. Then don't patch the pip-boy flashlight. By default it'll shine behind you. I've been using it this way for years. I'm going to link a film demonstrating how it looks in my game, but please note the characters have skimpy attire--not nude but skimpy. I'm putting it in a spoiler. To moderators: If this is inappropriate please forgive me, and I'll edit this post to remove it (or you can). Thank you. CheezeOfAstora, if you check starting the 2 minute 15 second mark you'll see my pip-boy flashlight lighting up the street from behind me. The following film is not age restricted so does not need a Flickr login to see, but it is somewhat skimpy. I have a ton of films on Nexus Supporter section (including this film) using this pip-boy flashlight lighting technique, but I note you do not have Supporter/Premium account on Nexus, so I can't link you to that. This is why I'm linking directly to Flickr.

Thank you for the suggestion, I tried your solution and it does emit light from the back, but after opening the Pipboy menu or using any terminal the Pipboy light becomes totally buggy and does not emit light correctly. Image reference: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/275930 And per your response from my other post|: It seems this issue can't be fixed right now. subaverage
I never noticed this behaviour, because I don't play in third person. So I tested it. When I enable the Pip-Boy light in third person I sometimes have to do it twice to switch it on at all. The back of my Chararcter is lighted. After opening and closing the Pip_Boy screen it is still lighted. But after I entered a terminal I see the same behaviour as described above. I use the this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/38530 Maybe the mod has some influence on the Pip-Boy light and you would get at least the back light after Pip-Boy screen.
