EDIT: NOT SOLVED!!! I thought the edit below detailed a solution but I once again got the red message o'death when I loaded up! Anyone got a clue?

-----------------------------------------------------------

SOLVED:

I had to edit the 'veryhigh.ini, high.ini' files in the game folder. Zero the AA settings at the top and you're good.

Hi guys,

Plea for help here, this error message is driving me crazy.

I have disabled all AA in Skyrim launcher, NVIDIA control panel and NVIDIA inspector. I have looked all the way through skyrimprefs.ini and skyrim.ini for anything related to AA and turned it off. I have deleted the duplicate .ini in the Skyrim game folder as I heard that can cause issues.

I've used both SkyRealism and K ENB with injector version 0149. I've also set SKSE v1.6.6 as a proxy in the enbseries.ini.

What am I missing?!

Thanks,

Dan

I am having this same issue - I've disabled antialiasing through the NVidia inspector, the NVidia 3D Control Panel Settings, Skyrim.ini, SkyrimPrefs.ini - nothing seems to be working! My VC is a GTX 570. I'm able to enable DoF, Bloom, and SunRays but I cannot enable Ambient Occlusion. I have also tried using SMAA as a proxy d3d9 source for SkyRealism ENB but I'm getting no love.

Any ideas?

Although I haven't gone down the route you have, I think that the red warning message it just that, a warning highlighted in red just so that it's evident that there's a possible issue. However, I imagine that the ENB messages that appear in the top left of the screen are just written into the ENB mod and simply automatically displays when everything starts up, regardless of if you have every ENB feature functioning or not. Only way to test it for sure is to edit a feature that may not be working and see if it changes anything, then you'll know for sure what's enabled and what's disabled.

I was having this problem, too. I realized that (somehow) the Skyrim Launcher's graphics settings (found by clicking Options in SkyrimLauncher.exe) had been reset, switching on antialiasing and anisotropic filtering. I switched these off and started up the game with Nexus (custom launch that loads SKSE), everything was back to beautiful!

if you get the error, first go to "my games/skyrim" and edit the skyrimprefs.ini, and add the nessesery text and or turn of FXAA, then go to steam/.../skyrim, and delete the folder called skyrim, in there ther is another skyrimprefs that dont do enything and makes enbseries confused, and also make sure only have 1 skyrimprefs, befor i fixed this i had 9 of them, only newer version of enbS has these problems doe

----PROBLEM SOLVED----

-------------------------

The only thing i've done was setting the detail in the Skyrim Launcher to ULTRA!

While in ultra settings the anisotropic filtering is set to ''16 Examples'', which is the required to run the ENB mods!!!!

If helped,You're Welcome!!!!
