as the title says im working on a mod where i have made a custom ai package for use with guards. Is there an easier way to add it to all of them than just adding it manually?

I noticed this post a day or so ago, but didn't think I had an immediate answer. I hoped someone else would... my PC was blown up by my cat... in the words of Metallica, "Sad But True"

It's interesting, but at the mo, I'm having major PC trouble. I can open things in CK, though, so I may be able to help.

What sort of package are you trying to add?

I will need to look at how the guards are set up before I can say much more. I am curious, though.

I hesitated too, because the first thing that came to mind was adding it to the lvlguardimperial and lvlguardsons that the other guards uses as templates, but that would probably cause conflict issues with other packages and their schedules. I don't know anything about scripting, so I can't say whether there would be a way to have a script check and add, or if that too would cause problems. One thing that might help is to go to the AI Overhaul mod and look at SpiderAKCs blurb about how to add sequences to existing AI packages.

Sorry for the incomplete answer, but most of my experience has been around small numbers of guards sharing something like a sleep or sandbox package, and/or individual packages per NPC.

@thumbincubation, that's why I I'm always nervous about touching this sort of thing... the potential consequences. It's also why I wanted to know more about what the OP wanted. If we knew that, we could think of other ways to achieve it.
