Hi, I own Skyrim and have approx 60 mods downloaded and managed via NMM....im thinking of buying Fallout vegas for a try, and will obviously want to mod it. DO i need to install another NMM from the Fallout Vegas Nexus site for the mods that i will download for that or does my current NMM for skyrim have a sort of game switch mode???

Thanks

Thanks mate, i thought this might be the case, but my game has'nt arrived yet so the option's not there yet.

One more question: If i am downloading a mod for NV using the 'download with manager button', will it automatically detect the game (NV) and download in that space, or do i need to manually switch NMM to the NV game setting and then download??

Thanks, oh and one more question....did any official NV patches allow for 4GB memory use as in skyrim, or do i need to get a unofficial patch for this??

Thanks again

Yes, it automatically detects for which game a mod you download is. You can have the it open in Skyrim mode and download a New Vegas mod and it will end up where it should. If the manager already is open in Skyrim mode, it won't automatically switch over to NV mode just because you download a mod for that game, but the mod will be there ready to install when you switch over yourself. (Or maybe you have to switch over for it to start downloading, I'm not sure about that.)

No official 4GB exe patch was released that I know of, but I haven't played NV for years so it might have happened since, although I strongly doubt it. However, there was (at least) one very good 4GB executable which should be very easy to find.

You might need to re-scan for your games. I showed someone else how to do that in this thread.

Once you've re-scanned for your games, you should be able to open the menu in the upper-right corner of NMM to switch games at any time. If not, try to following.

-Check to make sure your A/V is not interfering with NMM. If needed, open your A/V and make an exception for NMM.

-Make sure your .NETFrameworks are up-to-date. This is a long-shot, but out-of-date .NETFrameworks can cause all sorts of weird issues.

-Re-install NMM. Your original installation might be corrupted.
