rpgpublic
So I have completed cracked skyrim heavily modded years ago and now I would like to buy the game and finish it again heavily modded. Now as I've seen most of the mods that matter had been converted to SSE already and there are more mods being made to SSE nowadays than Oldrim and SSE is also more stable. My question is do I bother buying Oldrim or just buy SSE because even if I don't have a mod ported to SSE there is going to be a better alternative since nowadays modders make mods for SSE more than Oldrim. (P.S. : I also might wanna try Skyrim Together which only works with SSE).
DoctorKaizeld
oldrim cannot be easily purchased, so get SE
Radioactivelad
In my opinion, the fact SSE runs significantly better (*with* enhanced visuals) is worth a lot more than the odd SLE mod that still hasn't been converted. (And probably hasn't for good reason.) It's currently possible to play SSE at 90+ fps (via Display Tweaks) while SLE will still predictably get drops to sub-60 on *identical* hardware.
