KennethKarl Posted February 18, 2013 Share Posted February 18, 2013 So I'm wondering how to start the Dragonborn questline with Miraak and all that rot. I've been to Solestheim and did some of the Raven Rock quests, but cant seem to start what seems to be the main quest. Not all that sure. I'm also having a problem where I'm not absorbing dragon souls. Either my game is messed up, or I was never meant to be the Dragonborn. Any thoughts? Elsarian Posted February 18, 2013 Share Posted February 18, 2013 The "Dragonborn" questline (the main quest) is started by you being attacked by cultists after you've spoken with the Greybeards. They only way for you to be able to go to Solstheim is after this happens, which starts the "dragonborn" main quest. Simply follow the quest from there. blitzen Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Your character has been through the intial part of the main quest in the original Skyrim, up to the point where he/she speaks with the Greybeards? That's the trigger. You have to have been reconginized as Dovahkiin by the Greybeards. If you have done this, then you may have to resort to console commands to get it started.
