gannoncannon
Hello I am relatively new to modding, and I have been following Gopher's tutorial video Beginner's Guide to Modding FALLOUT: New Vegas (2020)#1 - Getting Started It is for this reason that I followed his instructions regarding the FNV 4gb Patcher and New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE). However When I downloaded Nexus' mod manager Vortex version ver 1.3.13 I had an issue as fallout new vegas has yet to appear as a supported game to link, despite the fact I installed it through steam and set the discovery to the correct file on my C: drive, and even specified the FNV game file. my problem is that FNV does not appear at all on vortex not even as an 'unmanaged' I have made sure that I am displaying all games hidden or otherwise, and that's not it. here are screenshots of what I am referring to managed games Games in unmanaged in alphabetical order where FNV should be "fallout" search "New Vegas" search I have only seemed to find 2 other instances of this issue, here on the nexus forums and a reddit thread with even less info which both seem inconclusive. I have tried deleting and reinstalling Vortex and FNV multiple times to no effect. I've run out of ideas to try and fix the issue. The nexus mods subreddit has directed me here as the best source of help for my info Any Help/insight you can give would be greatly appreciated Cheers. Pickysaurus
Can you check your "Extensions" tab and see if the "Game: Fallout New Vegas" is present and enabled?
