Change Alistair's starting GWoF armour type

So I've used Grey Wardens of Ferelden since I first started modding DAO and in all but one playthrough, he started with the massive variation.

Once I managed to tweak his starting gear so that he started with the Rogue armour variant, but I can't for the life of me remember how I did it so I can do it now for my current playthrough.

Like, I know I can just change his armour set to Rogue after he becomes a party member, but if anyone can help me with changing his starting equipment so I don't have to bother, I'd really like the help.

-Bonus question, how do I make it so the GWoF Mage robes look like the Rogue variant as well? I just realized I prefer the Rogue look a lot more, so let me know!

To change Alistair's starting gear, edit gen00fl_alistair.utc and replace the Equip_ItemsList with the items you prefer. (I've written a crappy tutorial on the process - How to change DAO NPC equipment - including items added by mods! - without the toolset - though I'm sure there are better explanations out there if you search around.

To change the Warden 'robes' - which are a chest-gloves-feet setup rather than an actual unibody 'robe, correct? It's been a while since I played with the GWoF mod... let me download and check... yep, 3 piece! - try this:

1. Download and install GDApp

2. Using GDApp, open the GDA file for the GWoF light armour chest variant (armor_light_variation_wrb.gda). In the MODELSUBTYPE column, the value for the armour is 'wrb'. Change that value to 'wlt' (which, if you open the medium armor variant GDA, you will see is the MODELSUBTYPE value for the 'Rogue' chest.) Save the edited GDA and close it.

3. Repeat the editing process for the other items (gloves_light_variation_wrb.gda and boots_light_variation_wrb.gda). The values to be replaced should be the same for all pieces - wrb > wlt. Edit helmet_light_variation_wrb.gda if you want to change the hood. (Though aren't the rogue and mage hoods the same already?)

The model change via GDA edit should work even if you already have copies of the armour in your inventory.

Bonus info no-one asked for: if you want the Medium/Rogue appearance with the Massive stats, then rather than editing Alistair's UTC file, then just edit the massive armour GDAs to use the medium armour MODELSUBTYPE.

And again, that's just how I'd approach it... there's probably a better way or more thorough explanation out there somewhere.

It was nagging at me that I wasn't sure if just editing the GDA would work to swap the models of items that were already in the player inventory, so I installed GWoF and consoled the items in. Then I closed out the game and edited the light armour GDAs (as describe above), loaded the game and equipped the light armour ('Arcane') variants on my Warden. Was pleasantly surprised to see that the model swap worked as intended:
