Redpanda69
Anyone have any helpful advice on combining plug-ins with the G.E.C.K.? The elder scrolls construction sets (both for oblivion and morrowind) had this feature, but it seems mysteriously absent from this one for fallout 3.... Correct, the Geck doesn't merge plug-ins so user-made utilities had to take up the slack. allow me to quote myself.... <Snip> second way: in FOMM use the the plugin editor to copy the forms needed from the "master esp" & paste to the the other esp. this method is more flexible as the info is contained in the file that needs it. so it's a decent option if you intend to release it. another way: use TES4Gecko ( http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8665 ) to convert your master esp into a true ESM, then when you load the new esm with the esp you want dependent it will be forever.note TES4gecko does merge esps I hope my knowledge helps you figure the method best for what you want to do.at the time I was actually talking of esp to esp dependencies but this is what I know of for merging (underlined note just added)

Leadpipe
This may be a dumb question, but does this method apply to incorporating elements from the Pitt and Anchorage, or is there another method for including those assets?
TGBlank
Just... list them as masters. There really shouldnt be any trouble if the data you want is in an esm...oh, wait.. you do need to edit the ini to allow multiple master files, but other than that, no probs. There's also fo3edit, it also allows moving records from one esp to the other (slightly better interface than the integrated editor on fomm). Leadpipe
Awesome. I'll probably be back with more dumb questions later, but for now that does it. Thanks!
IceDragon987
There is no dumb question, only a redneck! I'm kidding, but seriously there is no dumb question when it pertains to learning. Good luck! Awesome. I'll probably be back with more dumb questions later, but for now that does it. Thanks!
