DoctorKaizeld
It would be neat to add a feature to Vortex that allows the site to ping the manager to confirm if a user has the required mods when downloading. It could be a togglable feature and set to off by default for the "security conscious" types as well. The idea being if you have the required mods downloaded and or installed the site will indicate this when showing the required mods window when you download a mod. This way you will know if you have it without loading the mod page to check. Maybe add a button to ping on the window could work as well?

I'm not against the concept, but I'd say it'd be better to do this check on the Vortex side rather than the site side. Eventually I'd like us to move to per-file requirements (rather than per-mod page) so that authors can explicitly say which other files you need for their content. DoctorKaizeld
I agree with the per-file method it would help. How about adding the "you last downloaded this on 00/00/0000" method like what is shown on mod pages? It would serve a similar purpose.
