ahnjd
Hi All, I got a weird issue that never happened. When launching SKSE64 it will do a false launch. When looking at my start menu it won't show Skyrim is open, but if I go into Task Manager, it shows Skyrim running. Attached is a picture of what I am seeing I am using the latest SKSE64 and tried launching Skyrim without SKSE64 and it loads fine. Has anyone ever had this issue? If so, is there a way to resolve it? Edited October 24, 2020 by ahnjd

HadToRegister
Where did you install SKSE64? SKSE install [ Installation ] 1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim SE directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\. If you see files named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it. 2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE.
Pilphter
I actually had this issue the other day. I couldn't launch Skyrim Regularly (Through launcher or clicking on TESV.exe or SKSE). I ended up purging my load order and trying it again. I went back and re-enabled all of my mods (Over 170) manually until i found the one the broke it and removed it. After that I haven't had a problem since! From what I understand this is an issue with one of your mods using an older version of SKSE. The mod author would have to update their Mod in order for it to be used with the latest version. Mind posting your mod list?

Its weird I tried disabling all my mods and just just SKSE64 with the base game and the official DLCs and it still does the same thing
HadToRegister
Download SKSE for SKYRIM, instead of trying to use SKSE64 for Skyrim Special Edition.
