Dreifels
I noticed a new txt line above my mods "This mod is currently not opted in to our mod rewards program".can't fiond any concrete explanation what this is and how it works.
DoctorKaizeld
Mod rewards gets you dp per unique download. With the DP you can acquire games, donate to charity/other mod authors, or cash it out for money. The system was added a few years back.
BigBizkit
That text line is there (replacing a redundant "You are managing this mod" message) to inform mod authors of our mod rewards program (also known as the Donation Points system). A short explanation and a link to the FAQ can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/about/donation-points/ As the text says, you will have to opt in each mod you want to earn DP (donation points) with. Please note that you may only do this for mods that conform to our DP TOS: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/68-donation-points-system-terms-of-service

DoctorKaizeld
No, users only have to download the mod. They are not asked to do anything else. The money comes from the Nexus income and anyone who donates into the pool.
