I just started using vortex and playing skyrim se . I was playing vanilla skyrim with skse and had some good mods I used. is there a way to import vanilla mods to vortex for special edition to see if they work? I would also like to know does SE include dragonborn, dawnguard and hearthfire by default or are there esm i need to install . I ask this because i am literally lvl 1 in SE and have only done unbound quest. i downloaded 3 mods only so far unofficial skyrim special edition patch, skse64 pre download ini, and (part1) engine fix. vortex and nexus mods are completely new to me I barely know how to launch game in vortex. Im suffering a little from information overload and feel i might just break the whole system right off the bat. for instance vortex disabled all my my vanilla mods in skse and i had to re able them again when i run skse. also tell me where is skse64? thanks i know ita a tall order lols

Well, you're playing Skyrim SE, but posted in the Skyrim forum, so I'm going to warn you to NOT use Skyrim Mods, in Skyrim SE.

Also, use SKSE64, it is explicitly made for Skyrim SE.

SKSE is for regular Skyrim.

Also, it sounds like you had mods already installed, and then installed vortex

If that's the case, DON'T DO THAT.

Uninstall your mods first, then install them with Vortex
