Is 144hz curved monitor good for PC gaming?

Large ones yes, the smaller ones are kind of pointless as you don't really benefit from the curve, you also have to be sitting dead centre. Something I did notice when using one, Bethesda's games already have a kind of fisheye effect going on and for me the curved screen made it look even worse.

Isn't there an ini setting to correct that though?? I seem to remember reading something about that....... (but, be darned if I can find it now....)

The only way I know of is to lessen it is to lower the FOV down to console levels which is 60 I think for the older games, I don't know about the newer ones.
