Adras
I have a good idea for amking Morrowind a multi-player game. First we whine and complain to Bethesda Softworks and tell them to make Morrowind multi-player. It wouldnt really be any different than playing another online RPG like Priston Tale or Mu Online. The only problem would be the quests, but they could just eaither take them out or make it so they regenerate. Such as, if someone takes a quest from someone, then someone else comes up to that same NPC, they will just say, "Sorry, I dont have any quests for you right now, check back later." Then they come back 10 minutes later and they get a quest... And make it so people can communicate, so they can give eachother quests. However, if you have some murderous male without a father, then, you will still be able to save, but if some one kills you, you go back to the last time you saved (such as in Morrowind normally). But if someone kills you, they cant take anything from your inventory, because that would be cheating. There would be some other things to think about, such as mods, but that could be worked with. Dagger of Symachus
To put it bluntly, there will never be multiplayer in Morrowind. It is not what the game is designed for. Even though it may seem like it with the massive world, what it was supposed to do is take a normal rpg and give it epic proportions as opposed to a small enclosed place like in most rpgs. Bethesda knows this, and if they do make a MMORPG, it will not be the next Morrowind. Also, by your suggestion of taking out the quests, you kill one of the main points of Morrowind. Morrowind is supposed to be one of the most interactive one player game worlds in existence, and that includes quests. As opposed to focusing on making a MMORPG Morrowind, you would most likely expect the next game similar to Morrowind but trying to be more interactive (most likely taking a nod from KotOR most likely by putting in more interactive quests and full voice acting). draginater
it WOULD be awsome to be able to play multiplayer, but like he said, its not designed for it. there would be mass murderers everywhere, lol but am idea i had was they should assign certain number of invincible guards with special killing weapons, to keep the peace and send them to jail :P thad be awsome
>Argonian thief<
a multiplayer morrowing would be cool but i dont think it could ever happen. i dont even think yars of wining to bethesda would pay off but if somone were to make a mod...
Mikhail
If there were a multiplayer morrowind it would be the best game ever created.but if there was one people will just abuse it with cheating, jumping like a bunny u know the typical multiplayer shooter problems. :(
