Superfart
How do I convert some of the Oblivion mods to the Fallout 3 mods? If there's a way.
alex2avs
Knowing that importing meshes/textures from Morrowind to Oblivion is not legal (as far as I know) , we can guess that is the same thing for Fallout 3 and Oblivion. About the modder resource clothes there should be a nif export script for Fallout 3 in order to convert them. Alex
LHammonds
There is not a direct way to port an Oblivion mod to a Fallout 3 mod. There are ways to convert models, textures and sound but the plugin will have to be re-built from the ground up. If any of the models, textures or sound were from the original game (meaning they are not 100% fan-made), it is not allowed to distribute the conversion and if a Fallout 3 mod uploaded here contains original Oblivion (DLC or SI) assets, the mod will be deleted and the member will be punished. Furthermore, the person converting the fan-made Oblivion assets should obtain permission from the original author to do so (either via the readme documentation or PM/email).
