NorthicTroll
I've noticed these weird green glows on all fire emissions including candles indoors and outdoors. I have no texture mods or lighting mods but I do have Correct Meshes by ZWolol. I've noticed that enabling "per-pixel lighting" in MGE XE eliminates the issue, but enabling that feature tanks my FPS so I keep it off. I don't have distant lands enabled but I do have the built in shaders enabled for HDR, Bloom, and SSAO and nothing else. Turning them off individually or turning of the entire shaders use does not fix it. Only enabling per-pixel lighting does. Dragon32
Have you enabled quadratic lighting in morrowind.ini? IIRC that can cause that.

I played around with the other settings around changing it up and seeing what will work and nothing seemed to be doing the trick.

leonardo2
I think the OP should run the distant land wizard and follow the recommendations in the Instructions tab. Probably have a look at the Config tab too.

I did forgot to mention I have Aethesia Groundcover - grass mod by Rytelier not sure if it has to do with anything but even unchecking them from distant lands does nothing. leonardo2
Well then it is time to get the original Morrowind.ini back and hope your issue will solve itself. What I mean is to re-install Morrowind from scratch e.g mods, tools etc. Everything.
NorthicTroll
I'm scared of doing that. It's actually my first time playing Morrowind and I'm pretty happy with my current character that I wish to push and continue with. That's why I'm not downloading crazy mods that will change the feel/look of the game dramatically and keeping it as close to vanilla as possible. I could try openMW to see but I hear that changes the game completely. Is there a lighting mod out there that all most works like the "per-pixel lighting" feature in MGE XE since it's the only thing that seems to fix it for me?
